8th Annual Build-A-Bike a huge success!!
Thank you for your support which made our 8th Annual Build -A- Bike the largest event held to date by Utica Safe Schools Healthy Students Partnership, Inc.
Our goal for 2013 was to promote healthy living and give 600 rebuilt bicycles and we surpassed this by giving away 772 rebuilt bicycles and new helmets for local youth. In addition, 95 community volunteers helped us collect, repair, rebuild and give away every bike. Additionally, we had over 1200 people attend the event.
We have already started planning next year’s event and hope you will remember us if you have any additional bikes or parts you would like to donate by calling 315-792-2205. Please help spread the word about this amazing event scheduled for April 2014.
